Gwion Llewelyn

The Function Hub was created by Gwion Llewelyn, a musician who has worked in the music industry as a performer and promoter for over fifteen years.

Having experienced the ups and downs of working as a full time musician, Gwion was determined to create a hub where he could secure regular, fair paid work for talented musicians based in North Wales whilst also offering incredible entertainment to weddings and functions across the UK.

He's played at many of the world's leading festivals and venues and has most recently shared a stage with the likes of Paul Weller. Gwion is now touring with Mercury nominated and Ivor Novello winner, Villagers as well as New Zealand folk singer-songwriter, Aldous Harding.

On those rare occasions where he isn't touring, Gwion loves to spend his time walking the beautiful mountains of North Wales or catching up with friends and family while enjoying a vegan pizza at his favourite spot in Anglesey, Dylan's Restaurant.

Ioan Gwyn

The newest addition to The Function Hub team is North Wales bassist, Ioan Gwyn. Ioan holds a First Class Honours Degree from the Academy of Contemporary Music, as well as recently completing an MA in Popular Music Performance.

Ioan was chosen by Gwion to be part of a band for what would become The Function Hub, and so Four Kicks was created. Four Kicks have been busy playing weddings and parties all year, and they are looking forward to where The Function Hub will take them next.

Ioan’s playing experience ranges from concert halls to festival stages, and he has travelled Europe playing music and embracing different cultures. Now based in Cardiff, Ioan is a professional musician, and now works alongside Gwion behind the scenes at The Function Hub as the company is approaching some very exciting times.
