Gwion Llewelyn
The Function Hub was founded by professional musician Gwion Llewelyn, whose career in the music industry spans more than 20 years as both a performer and promoter.
Having experienced first-hand the realities of working as a professional musician, Gwion created The Function Hub to provide talented performers across North Wales with regular opportunities, while making it easier for clients to book high-quality live entertainment with confidence.
Having performed at weddings, corporate events, festivals and venues across the UK and internationally, Gwion understands first-hand the difference great entertainment can make. That experience has shaped The Function Hub into an agency built on quality, professionalism and exceptional customer service.
Since launching in 2018, The Function Hub has helped deliver entertainment for more than 1,500 events, representing some of North Wales' finest musicians and entertainers while working with couples, businesses, venues and event organisers across the UK.
Although Gwion still performs professionally, his focus today is on helping clients find the right entertainment while supporting talented musicians to do what they do best.
Andrew Walton
Andy joined The Function Hub in 2026 as Assistant Manager and plays a key role in the day-to-day running and continued growth of the business.
Alongside Gwion, Andy is often the first point of contact for new enquiries, helping clients find the right entertainment for their event before working closely with our artists to coordinate bookings and ensure everything is in place for a successful performance.
His role spans artist management, operations, business development and marketing, supporting both our performers and clients while helping The Function Hub continue to grow. Andy is committed to delivering a professional experience from the very first enquiry.
Alongside his role at The Function Hub, Andy is also well known as Welsh-language artist The Welsh Whisperer and serves as Vice Chairman of Caernarfon Town Football Club. His experience in entertainment, leadership and community engagement brings valuable insight to the team and reflects his passion for connecting with people.
Kami Hughes
Kami joined The Function Hub in 2026 as our Admin & Marketing Officer and is a key member of the team, helping to ensure every event runs smoothly.
As the main point of contact for many of our wedding clients, Kami works closely with couples to finalise timings, logistics and all the finer details in the lead-up to their celebration. Her organised approach and friendly communication give clients complete confidence ahead of their day.
Alongside coordinating events, Kami leads much of our marketing activity, helping to showcase our artists and share the stories behind the events we deliver.
With a background in marketing, Kami combines creativity with attention to detail, ensuring both our clients and performers receive the highest level of support.
